A planning application has been submitted to build 8 bungalows behind Orchard Farm, and also to make the road under the railway bridge into Longfield one-way, with cars travelling north towards Longfield from Fawkham giving way to cars travelling south, with signage and road markings introduced. The road under the bridge would be narrowed to single carriageway by the introduction of a footway under it. Please see pictures below.
Fawkham Parish Council is holding a public meeting on Wednesday 24th May 7:30 – 8:00pm in the village hall to hear your thoughts on this, before sending a response to Sevenoaks District Council. Please come along if you would like to find out more.

Orchard Farm is immediately before the railway bridge, on the left when travelling towards Longfield. The bungalows (2 bed, 3 bed and 4 bed) would replace existing industrial units.
