Severe Weather Emergency Protocol – street homeless

There is a 90% probability of severe cold weather and icy conditions between 1800 on Wednesday 07 Dec and 0900 on Monday 12 Dec in parts of England.

Sevenoaks District Council will be implementing its emergency response via its Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP), which will provide emergency accommodation for those who will otherwise be sleeping out in freezing temperatures.

The usual contact numbers are below, but if you are aware of any individuals sleeping rough whilst SWEP is activated, please contact the Housing Advice team on 01732 227000 (this includes their Out of Hours service).

To report street homelessness

If you are concerned about someone over the age of 18 that you have seen sleeping rough.
