Village Hall Refurbishment

We’re pleased to let you know that an extensive refurbishment of the village hall has been undertaken during recent months while the hall was closed. The hall now has new flooring throughout, a new kitchen, new ladies, gents and disabled toilets, a baby changing unit, new LED lighting and complete redecoration – even the cork on the noticeboards has been renewed! Some photos are shown below. The funds for the refurbishment came from a Kent County Council grant, Community Infrastructure Levy, and a Covid-related Government grant, and was organised by Fawkham Parish Council as sole trustee of the village hall charity.

The hall is available for hire (subject to Government guidance) at reasonable rates, with a discount for Fawkham residents. You can find full details here: https://fawkhampc.org.uk/village-hall/.
