Dear residents
As you may be aware, Millwall FC are proposing to make a planning application this summer for a new training ground in West Kingsdown. This is proposed for land just outside Fawkham’s Parish boundary on Fawkham Road next to Birtley House school and opposite Westfield Cottages. The proposed training ground would be for the first team and the academy, with 11 outdoor pitches, buildings to house indoor training facilities and 150 car parking places.
Millwall FC will be holding a drop in session at Fawkham Village Hall on Thursday 21st July from 6:30 – 7:30pm, with an exhibition showing details of their proposals and members of their development management team present to answer any questions. Fawkham Parish Council will be considering the application once it has been made, when it will be discussed at an FPC meeting open to the public.
