This Thursday marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day, when Allied forces mounted the largest amphibious invasion the world has seen. Here in Fawkham, we will be ringing the bell at St. Mary’s as part of the commemoration events occurring across the nation. This will take place for around 10 minutes, starting at 6:30pm. If you would like to take part in the bell ringing, no experience is necessary, just please arrive a few minutes before 6:30 and you will be shown how to do it.
